July member of the month Gina B Huthmacher

Gina Burch Huthmacher:  Worked the step up for soldiers event at Kure Beach
Pier, Worked the Fishin with Special Friends Tournament on Johnny Mercer’s Pier,
Worked the Kure Beach Pier Flat Fish Tournament, Worked the Final Sign up for
the Carolina King Challenge, Fished the Carolina King Challenge, Worked the
Awards for the Carolina King Challenge, and Helped set up NUMEROUS items to make
them ALL possible.

Gina Burch Huthmacher is on the board of SEKMC and is a valued member of
the board with her input and knowledge.  She helps set up the tournaments with
the rules and regulations, finding sponsors for the tournaments,  picking up
equipment, signing up and explaining tournaments, giving out awards, keeping
monies straight and when she gets the chance even fish the tournaments.  She
came aboard as a member of the board at the end of 2010 but was involved long
before then as a member and a club rep on Carolina Beach Pier and since that
time has been a mainstay of the club and a VALUED asset.

Gina comes to us from Greensboro, NC and is a avid fisherwoman.  Her love
of fishing can be sum up in that she was married under fighting king rods on
Carolina Beach Pier in 2010 to her husband Chuck Huthmacher.  She also is
raising her granddaughter, Logan, who is also learning fishing and becoming very
good at it at various levels on bottom fishing, plugging and being able to spot
pods of bait fish coming up the beach thanks to the teaching of Gina.  Gina also
has an interest in horses as well in raising and caring for these beautiful
animals.  At times, we think Gina must have numerous clones of herself because
you think how can ONE person do all these things and maintain a household, which
she does.

Congratulations Gina for our honorary member for the month of July and
