Southeastern King Mackerel Club’s Hosts
NC/SC Carolina Fall Challenge

September 30,2011- WILMINGTON, NC – The 1st Annual
Carolina Fall Challenge
by Southeastern King Mackerel Club on October 1st and
2nd will bring together North Carolina and South Carolina
for the first ever interstate pier king fall tournament.
 

Five piers are participating in this history event:
Cherry Grove,  Oak Island Pier, Kure Beach Pier, Carolina Beach Pier, and Johnny Mercer. The last sign ups will be at Microtel in Carolina Beach  from 5pm to 8:00pm on September 30th.

Sponsors for this
event include: Kure Beach Pier, Carolina Beach Pier, Johnny Mercer’s Pier,

Cherry Grove Pier,  Oak Island Pier, Island Tackle, Tex’s Tackle, Subway of Carolna Beach, Reelkingin, Dutchman Creek and David Lee has donated certificates for anchors.

Entry
fee for club members is $30, non-club members is $50
and the difference of $20 between the 2 fees will be added at 50% as a bounty
for the first legal King caught. Pay-out is the following: 1st place 50% . 2nd Place

 25% 3rd place 15% and calcutta which is a separate entry fee of $10 for the largest
 multi-species fish 90% payoff. And the bounty is for the first legal King caught and is
100% pay out. If less than 3 kings are caught the remaining monies will be drawn on.
 Monies included are the monies that rolled over from the spring tournament.  THERE
 WILL BE WINNERS with NO ROLLOVER.
