Home-made Crab Cakes: You can either buy Fresh crab meat from the local market or catch the crabs yourself. You will need 1 pint of crab meat mix with 3/4 package of Ritz crackers finely ground, add 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of texas pete hot sauce. Finely chop 1/2 small onion and cook in low fat butter or margarine add this to the mix and remix all items throughly. Then Shape into small patties and cook over medium heat with low fat butter or margarine until golden brown. Serve with your favorite sides. Feeds an average family of 4 with sides.

Broiled Fish; Preferrably any Local Grouper: I just broil my fish and add some old bay and lemon squeeze,simple as heck and then dip in Tartar a little maypo on top of fillet then pat down 1″ of crab..bake till fish is almost done then put close to broiler to lightly brown crab meat. Delicious

SPICY BAKED SHRIMP
1 lb. shrimp – peeled and deveined
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbs. cajun or creole seasoning
2 tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 tbs.chopped fresh parsley
1 tbs. soy sauce
pinch of cayenne pepper
2 cloves of garlic chopped
1 tbs. honey
(optional) 1/4 cup white wine
Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Add shrimp. Toss to coat. Refrigerate for one hour. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Bake until shrimp are cooked through, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with crusty French bread.

Cape Fear Crab Dip
A Blue Crab Grille Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb lump crab meat
¼ pounds of butter
1/3 cups of grated parmesan cheese
1 clove of garlic
1.5 tsps of dry parsley
1/8 cup of Worcestershire sauce
1/3 tsp of Tabasco
1/3 cups of med diced onions
16 oz of softened cream cheese
pinch of salt
Preparation
Chop onions, garlic, and parsley in the food processor and sauté in butter. Add all other ingredients except the crabmeat in mixing bowl. Finally fold in crabmeat and broil until golden brown on top.
